The virtual tour lasts approximately 60 minutes.

The virtual tour provides a comprehensive overview of BYU-Idaho through a slideshow presentation. A current student will guide you through the campus and answer any questions you may have during the Zoom call.
- Who will be leading the virtual tour?
A current BYU-Idaho student will lead your tour. They will answer your questions and offer valuable insights into campus life.
- Do I need a Zoom account to join the tour?
No Zoom account is necessary. We will send you a Zoom link and access code on the day of your tour.
- Can parents or family members join the virtual tour?
Yes, family members are welcome to join the virtual tour. Simply forward them the Zoom link we send on the day of the tour.
- How do I prepare for the virtual tour?
To get the most out of the virtual tour, we recommend joining the Zoom call a few minutes early and having any questions ready. Ensure you have a stable internet connection and are in a quiet environment where you can listen and participate comfortably.
- What technology do I need for the virtual tour?
You’ll need a computer, tablet, or smartphone with internet access. We recommend using a device with a camera and microphone so you can interact with the tour guide.
- Are there opportunities to ask specific questions during the virtual tour?
Absolutely! There will be plenty of opportunities to ask the student guide questions about the campus, student life, academics, and more during the tour.
- How can I reschedule or cancel my tour?
To reschedule or cancel your tour, you can use the link provided in your confirmation email. Alternatively, you can email us at admissionsoutreach@byui.edu or call or text 208-314-2083, and we’ll assist you in finding a new date or time.
- Can I access recordings or previous virtual tours for additional information?
No, the virtual tour is a live experience with a current student via Zoom. However, you can explore our virtual campus tour on the BYU-Idaho website, which provides detailed information about each building.
