Description
Come learn how you can help students attend BYU-Idaho.
BYUI is a unique educational institution and as such, has unique application requirements, unique financial aid and scholarships, and a unique environment. Join us on the BYU-Idaho campus in Rexburg for a Counselor Conference where you will learn about BYUI admissions, applications, housing, financial aid, and departments and majors. You will meet admissions representatives and current students who will spend the day with you.
Lunch will be served.
Event Schedule (Tentative):
9:00 am- 10:00 am: Check-In (Location: Taylor Building near the chapel)
10:00 am- 12:00 pm: Opening Session (Taylor Building, Room 160,170,180)
- 10:10 am- 11:20 am: Admissions Presentation
- 11:20 am-11:40 am: Financial Aid Presentation
- 11:40 am-12:00 pm: Early College Presentation
12:00 pm-12:20 pm: Lunch Break (We will provide lunch for all attendees)
- 12:20 pm-12:40 pm: Housing & Student Living Presentation (Location: Welcome Center)
- 12:40 pm-12:50 pm: First-Year Experience Presentation (Location: Welcome Center)
1:00 pm- 1:30 pm: Campus Tour ( Bring your walking shoes; let us know if you need accessibility accommodations).
1:30 pm-2:00 pm: Department Tour
2:00 pm -2:30 pm: Centre Square Tour
2:45 pm-3:00 pm: Closing Session (Location: Taylor 160,170, & 180)
Registration
The Counselor Conference is free to attend but registration is required.

Most certainly. Bring the whole group if you can.
We suggest comfortable business casual clothing. Bring a jacket. Rexburg may be chilly even in the end of August. Wear comfortable walking shoes for the tour.
Yes, for those who travel over 150 miles will receive a small stipend.
