Description
Campus Day is BYU-Idaho's signature recruitment event of the year; where we welcome hundreds of high school students and their families to come experience BYU-Idaho in person and learn about everything the university has to offer. We will provide a day filled with fun activities and informative breakout sessions with presenters in admissions, housing, financial aid, counseling, activities, etc. Our next Campus Day takes place on October 18, 2024. Registration: Please create a separate registration for each prospective student ages 13+.
8:00 am-9:00 am: Check-in-Upon arrival, participants will receive a welcome packet with important information about the day's events, including schedules, food voucher, and locations for tours, workshops, and other activities. We encourage participants to arrive early to make the most of their time and explore everything BYU-Idaho has to offer!

9:00 am-10:00 am: Opening Session- The Campus Day opening session at BYU-Idaho will be a memorable start to the day, featuring inspiring messages from President and Sister Meredith. Attendees will also enjoy performances from the talented Dance Alliance and the energetic Rix Stix drumline. Additionally, a student panel will provide valuable insights into campus life, and participants will have the chance to win exciting prizes. This session will set the tone for an engaging and informative day, offering a glimpse into the vibrant community at BYU-Idaho.

10:00 am-11:30 am: Department Fair -The Department Fair will allow you the opportunity to speak directly with the academic programs you're interested in and the other campus resources that are available to help you succeed while at BYU-Idaho. Come with great questions to ask, and take the chance to interact with those who want to make your student experience great.

8:00 am- 5:00 pm: Ropes Course-The ropes course will be on a first come first serve basis.
- Location: In the sports complex, west of the Rexburg Temple.

10:30 am- 3:00 pm: Campus Tours- If you're interested in exploring the campus, head to the Welcome Center on the second floor of the Manwaring Center. The first tour will begin at 10:30 AM, with additional tours departing every 30 minutes until 3:30 PM. No prior registration is needed—simply stop by and join one of our friendly tour guides as they lead you through key areas of campus, sharing insights about BYU-Idaho’s facilities, student life, and academic programs.

11:00 am- 2:00 pm: Student Living & Housing Fair: The BYU-Idaho Housing Fair will feature representatives from approved housing complexes, showcasing various living options for students. Attendees can learn about amenities, pricing, and locations, making it an excellent opportunity to find housing that suits their needs while attending BYU-Idaho.

11:45 am-2:30 pm: Information Breakout Sessions: During the breakout sessions, attendees will have the opportunity to visit various departments in the Taylor building to receive important information and resources. Each session will provide valuable insights and guidance to help students and parents navigate BYU-Idaho’s resources and services.

2:00 pm-2:30 pm Department Tour: Several departments will be offering tours to give students and their families a closer look at the resources and services available at BYU-Idaho. These tours provide a great opportunity to learn how BYU-Idaho helps students succeed academically and personally.

12:30 pm-3:00 pm: Application Help: Prospective students at Campus Day can receive personalized help with their applications for BYU-Idaho. Staff will be available to answer questions, guide students through the application process, and offer tips for a strong submission. Whether you're ready to apply or just exploring options, this is a great chance to get support and even submit your application on-site. Don’t miss this opportunity to take the next step toward your future at BYU-Idaho!
Need help completing or starting a BYU-Idaho application; an admissions counselor will be in MC 117A to help answer questions.
- Location: Hyrum Manwaring Center 117A
11:30 am- 3 pm: Centre Square Housing Tour: Come take a tour of Centre Square Apartments, the only approved housing complex owned and operated by BYU-Idaho. You will be able to take a shuttle from the BYU-Idaho Center straight to Centre Square. Please meet one of our tour guides in the Building 3 Lounge. The tour will take about 30 minutes. You will walk through one of our 3-bedroom apartments and see several amenities of the complex. Our tour guides will be happy to answer any questions you have about Centre Square, Student Living, and/or Approved Housing at BYU-Idaho. We're excited to meet you!
11:30 am- 2:00 pm Lunch: Each registered participant will receive a food voucher, which can be used at the Cross Roads during the event.

If you are interested in attending Campus Day on October 18, 2024 but have not yet registered; we will accept walk-in registrations the day of.
Questions & Answers
Visitors attending Campus Day can be dropped off at the BYU-Idaho center. The driver can park at The Church of Jesus Christ Stake Center parking lot next to the Rexburg Temple (64 E 7th, Rexburg, ID 83440). Shuttles will be provided to transport drivers and participants to and from the parking lot to the BYU-Idaho Center from 7:00 am to 3:30 pm.
Check-in will be in the BYU-I Center from 8:00 AM to 9:00 AM.
Everyone is welcome to Campus Day! We require every prospective student to register before the event to receive a swag bag. If you have any family members in High School, they are welcome to register.
Yes, late registration will be available throughout the day in the BYU-I Center.
Prospective Students ages 13+ and Admitted Students to BYU-Idaho. Please create a separate registration for each prospective student 13+ in your group.
Campus tours will occur from 10:30 am - 3:00 pm every 30 minutes. No sign-up is necessary as all tours will be scheduled on a "walk-in" basis.
Walk-in registration and late check-in will be available until 12:00 pm in the BYU-Idaho Center. Come check in and our staff will guide you to your next location.
